We are seeking ambitious and talented professionals to join our team, with excellent leadership, communication and management skills.  We are looking for a Duty Manager with high standards and a commitment to service excellence, who wish to develop their career by taking responsibility for overseeing the full operational management of the
day- to-day running at our IB Leisure centre.

IBLEISURE
IB Leisure is the new home of health and fitness in Ingleby Barwick, bringing our customers more value and choice than any fitness provider in the area. At the centre of our bright and welcoming atrium are the 18m and 25m swimming pools, which support an extensive?learn to swim?and?school swimming?programme, as well as a variety of sessions including, lane swimming, aqua classes and early bird sessions. A modern gym and 3 purpose built fitness class studios with sauna and steam?facilities also boost our health and fitness offering. The centre is also home to a?library?and community hub, as well as an exciting soft play adventure. 
 
THE ROLE
You will deliver an excellent customer service, through effective supervision and leadership of all operational team members.  You will ensure the smooth running of the centre’s day-to-day activities and programme, acting as the primary point for solving customer and team member issues, whilst being responsible for the security, cleanliness, health and safety of the building and everyone in it.  You will act as the building keyholder and take responsibility for ensuring the Forum remains a safe, smart, fully functioning community space during opening hours.
Hours will cover the full operating hours - Monday to Sunday, working on three-week shift pattern.
We are committed to safeguarding and therefore the posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check. 
 
ABOUT YOU
This varied and challenging role requires pace, energy, resilience and high standards.  With proven track record of supervising a team, you will need to be customer-focussed, an effective leader and be able to deal with complex customer and facilities issues.  Twelve months experience in a leisure environment would be desirable.
You must have or be willing to attain on appointment a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, a National Pool Plant Operators certificate and First Aid at Work qualification.
