Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to sections listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):
(a) non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- Home page main image cannot be paused when changing. The main image on the site may change every 10 seconds to allow us to highlight new content and other opportunities. There is no function to pause this but the length of time between changes is 10 seconds and they gradually fade between each other
- Home page Main image contrast between heading "Find Public Sector Vacancies in the North East of England" has less contrast than is ideal. We are investigating design changes to remedy this. There is no defined timescale on this but we will endeavour to have it comeplted by the end of March 2025.
- Keyboard focus is nto currently visible on all elements on the page when using this method of navigation. We are working on this currently and plan to implement updates in January 2025.
- Cookie banner reflow - at high zoom levels (400%) on certain screen sizes the cookie banner when you first visit the site does not reflow correctly. This is being worked on and will be implemented in January 2025.
- Cookie banner colour contrast is not sufficient and is beign worked on to be released in January 2025.
- Job lists 'More Details' button has insufficient contrast. THis is being worked on and will be resolved in January 2025
- Accessibilty Statement title and link, this is currently Accessibility but is being updated to the correct Accessibility Statement term in January 2025.
