Teaching Assistant (Level 2) – Maternity Cover – to be located at our Fairfax Provision in Middlesbrough. Required for April 25.
19.5 Hours (3 days) – Monday - Wednesday term time + 3 PL days

Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of eight Academies and one Sixth Form across the Tees Valley, County Durham and North Yorkshire areas serving a population of in excess of 850 students aged 5 to 19 with a broad range of learning difficulties
In recent years Abbey Hill has expanded to include a co-located base for students with autism. Currently the academy has a small group of students on the roll of Abbey Hill but based at The Fairfax Provision located in Acklam in Middlesbrough
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with previous experience of working within SEN to cover a maternity leave. Ideally, the successful candidate will be an outstanding, creative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who has the flexibility to work with young people who have a variety of special educational needs. The role involve supporting students in the classroom giving attention to their physical as well as educational requirements. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will partake in training to further develop their skills to support the wide range of needs of our students.
