The Governors of St Oswald’s CofE Aided Primary & Nursery School are seeking to appoint an excellent early years practitioner to join our dedicated and friendly nursery team.
The successful candidate will become part of a committed and successful team who have high expectations and demonstrate a caring attitude towards our children’s academic and pastoral development. Our children need a practitioner who will take an interest in them as individuals and who will ensure that they make excellent progress both socially and academically.
Our nursery is open for 45 weeks of the year.
Usual working pattern in term time is:
Monday 7.45-1.15
Tuesday 7.45-1.15
Wednesday 8-6
Thursday 7.45-3.15
Friday 7.45-3.15
We will consider job share applications.
The successful applicant will be an Early Years Practitioner who meets our essential criteria (and desirable) as outlined in the person specification for this post. Please particularly note the requirement for candidates to hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
