Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of seven Academies and one Sixth Form across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire areas serving a population of in excess of 800 with a broad range of learning difficulties.

We specialise in meeting the needs of students who have a full range of learning difficulties and disabilities, as well as other physical and special needs including autism.
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with previous experience of working within SEN. Ideally, the successful candidate will be an outstanding, creative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who has the flexibility to work with young people who have a variety of special educational needs. The role involves supporting students in the classroom giving attention to their physical as well as educational requirements. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will partake in training to further develop their skills to support the wide range of needs of our students.
