Catalyst is the accountable body for this Lottery Funded project and this post will be directly employed by our organisation, on behalf of the Alliance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The post holder, in line with the Lottery project, will be responsible for working closely with, and consulting key stakeholders such as children and young people, YUSA Youth Advisory Forum and Stockton’s Youth Provider Forum so that there is a clear understanding of the needs of the sector.

The post holder will also be responsible for engaging and networking with wider cross-cutting themed agencies, statutory and non-statutory, partners and providers etc who can provide additional support to aid the sustainable development of the youth sector.

This work will be reported to the Strategic Partnership and recommendations will be provided by the Development Worker and Strategic Lead on what potential opportunities may be available to increase youth provision in specific areas in need, such as areas with high levels of anti-social behaviour or where there is low participation in youth provision.

As this is a brand new role, the key will be for the post holder to be pro-active in engaging with existing networks and partner agencies, in the first instance, and critically to work with children and young people and partners to understand participants needs and the needs of the sector.
