Hours:      35.5 Hours per week, term-time only + 5 days

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to work in the Key Stage One team at Hardwick Green Academy. You will work initially in our Year 2 class, supporting learners by working with them in the classroom and delivering small-group sessions.

Hardwick Green is a large primary school situated on the Hardwick estate in North Stockton. We benefit from a spacious, modern building with state-of-the-art facilities including touch-screen projectors, an extensive library and an ‘Interactive Immersive Classroom’ which has to be seen to be believed! The outside grounds have a wealth of play equipment including a MUGA for PE and active play and lunch times.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and energetic person who:
• Is a qualified level 2 Teaching Assistant and has recent, relevant
  experience of working in a school environment, preferably in Key   
  Stage One
• Has a sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and can support 
   teaching and pupils appropriately
• Is caring, compassionate and dedicated to making a difference
