We are looking for team players who are highly organised and self-motivated with a professional manner and the effective communication skills to work in the Revenues and Benefits Service as part of the Revenues Team.
 
You will assist in the day to day activities of the team and provide an efficient and effective service to all our customers.  This includes: 
  • Maintaining the Accounts Receivable customer database/Council Tax database to reflect changes in customer liability.
  • Promptly raising invoice/Council Tax debts across all the client’s service areas within the agreed timescales.
  • Maintaining the standing charges register to reflect changes in periodic billing.
  • Processing applications for VAT exemption and make refunds as necessary.
  • Processing debit card payments using the Civica WebPaystaff application.
  • Communicating, by telephone and in writing, with members of the public, client personnel and outside agencies to resolve any queries.
  • Providing information and reports from Accounts Receivable and Advanced Collection modules/Council Tax if required by customers, client personnel and outside agencies.
