As a key member of our Operational Management Team, Advanced Practitioners in Occupational Therapy work closely with our Principal Occupational Therapist and assist the Team Manager to facilitate practice improvement and development, whilst motivating and inspiring our practitioners to provide adult social care best practice.

Advanced Practitioners will provide a higher level of front-line skill and expertise to manage risk and meet complex needs. Through coaching and mentoring you will identify areas for learning within the team and play a key role in respect of support for team members, newly qualified workers and students and act as a role model for critical reflection and evidence based practice.

You will work in close partnership with the other Advanced Practitioners throughout Social care to support the Senior Management Team to roll out our Let’s Talk Together strength based approach and deliver safe and effective services across South Tyneside.
