About the Role:
As an Engagement and Co-production Officer you will work closely with the ASC Assurance Manager and become a key member of the Service Improvement Team. 
 
The role is to develop and deliver a programme of engagement activities and co-production which supports the ongoing delivery of the Adult Social Care Strategy (Living Better Lives). These will include community engagement, internal events, exhibitions, and roadshows. The postholder will work with and support the members of the ‘Working Together’ Group to deliver its objectives. They will also work with commissioners, co-production champions and other stakeholders on co-producing a South Tyneside approach to co-design and co-delivery of public services, through development of appropriate methods and tools.
 
About You:
Driven by research, innovation and the desire to develop best practice, you must have the ability to interpret policy and formulate clear and persuasive arguments and position statements, to help shape the way we work with people.   Having the ability to build strong and productive relationships is fundamental to this role, therefore you must have both excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders.
