We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and motivated individual to join the Design Services team.
Reporting to the Design Services Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of the Council’s Asbestos Management Policy in accordance with its statutory requirements under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
Applicants need to be able to demonstrate extensive experience in asbestos management and building surveying. In addition, the appointee will need knowledge of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and the asbestos management implications associated with construction and maintenance projects
Applicants should also be able to demonstrate a flexible and organised approach to their work and have good communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants should have experience of and be and be confident in the use of Microsoft Office applications and be particularly adept with Word, Excel and Outlook. Ideally the applicant should have a HNC or equivalent in a related subject.
This is a permanent full-time post.
