22.25 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks)
Salary: SCP 5-6 £9,606 - £9,798 per annum (£19,312 - £19,698 pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic team of professionals at Bexhill Academy.
We are looking for someone who can work directly with children to support them in their learning needs.
This is a temporary appointment.
The successful candidate will:
• Hold a relevant Level 3 Child Care or Teaching Assistant qualification
• Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills
• Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved
• Have the ethos and philosophy to build good relationships with children and parents, Have a commitment to safeguarding and well-being of children
• Have experience of supporting children with a variety of learning needs

You will work as a member of an established team and will contribute to the wider school community. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to work with teachers and also work independently to support pupils.
