We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly skilled Year 5 Teacher to join Tyneview Primary School from September 2024. You will be responsible for establishing a positive and purposeful environment for our learners, helping to develop positive relationships whilst effectively managing behaviour.

You will be able to deliver high quality teaching and learning, setting realistic and challenging targets that ensure all pupils make good progress to reach their full potential. We are looking for someone who:
  • Can inspire and motivate pupils, parents/carers and colleagues.
  • Has drive and ability to secure excellent progress and attainment.
  • Is committed to their own professional development.
  • Has strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Can develop a strong partnership with parents and carers. 
Our school is one of seven primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. Tyneview Primary School is a single form entry school catering for  primary-aged children from 2 – 11 years old with an Additional Resources Provision for up to 10 pupils. Our school motto is ‘maximising potential’ which we do through delivering a high-quality and relevant curriculum for all. We set high expectations of our children
and they have every opportunity to become confident and independent learners. Our aim is to be as inclusive as possible making sure that any opportunities to develop knowledge, skills and resilience are taken.
