An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Workshop supervisor to join the Fleet and Vehicle Workshop team based at Central Depot in Dormanstown where we currently maintain around 220 mixed Heavy Goods Vehicles and Light Commercial Vehicles.
As the successful candidate you will supervise the effective operation of the Council fleet vehicle workshop and plant equipment maintenance programme, providing support, expert advice and instruction to a team of vehicle fitters.
With a proven track record of successful management of craft and manual staff, you will have a minimum 5 years’ experience in motor vehicle maintenance, ideally in a supervisory capacity and will be qualified to City and Guilds Levels I,II,III technicians level (or equivalent experience) as well as having a clean driving licence.
Having a proactive and positive approach as well as being an excellent team player is essential.
