Due to the successful expansion of our Sixth Form provision the Governors of Monkwearmouth Academy wish to appoint exceptional, inspirational and dedicated teachers with the potential to excel in the following subjects
Teacher of English
Teacher of Art
Teacher of Computing
Teacher of Science
Teacher of Design Technology
Teacher of PE
Teacher of History
The successful applicants will be excellent and innovative practitioners, with the ability to inspire and enthuse students; and a belief that every child really does matter.
With our new sixth form provision now open you will also have the opportunity to teach up to A Level. Ambitious and reflective your will be energetic, enthusiastic and resilient. Applications from NQTs are welcome.
This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service
All posts will be initially offered on a one year fixed term contract.
