It is an exciting time at Metro, with a new fleet of trains in the final stages of testing, multi-million-pound investment in infrastructure upgrades, and the potential for network expansion. To ensure we deliver the best possible service to our customers through all of these changes, we need a train plan which provides a high level of service, operating reliably and efficiently.
An opportunity has arisen for a Train Planner to join our established team. Previous experience in logistics and planning is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. It is more important that you can demonstrate a high attention to detail, the ability to work to strict deadlines, and good problem-solving skills, as well as being able to work with specialist computer systems.
