Sunderland Council are seeking to recruit two Technicians to work within the Asset and Network Management Team.
As a Technician you will support the delivery of the Council’s responsibilities and functions of the Asset and Network Management team by ensuring the expeditious movement of all modes of traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists) on Sunderland’s highway network and that its condition is kept safe and serviceable.
Additionally there will also be duties and responsibilities to support the wide range of work in the team including in street lighting, network management, public rights of way and asset management.
Previous experience of working in a highway network management or highway asset environment would be an advantage.
