We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Property Services Team as a Team Leader. Our Team Leader roles play a vital part in our service delivery, you will be responsible for managing a team of construction trades ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, while delivering a value for money and customer focused service.

You will assist in the management of the employed labour force, apprentices, trainees, agency and sub-contractors to provide an excellent service for the South Tyneside Homes residents and for external clients.

You will be responsible to the Responsive Repairs Manager, where you will lead, manage and motivate the staff to ensure all work is delivered on time and to budget complying with STH policy & procedures and all current legislation, ensuring staff are safe and working to current health and safety regulations.

So what are we looking for?

If you are a highly organised and enthusiastic team player with trade qualifications, we want to hear from you. You should have experience of managing a team, dealing with customers enquiries, and handling difficult situations. You should hold a full driving license and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in pressurised situations.
