We wish to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and hard working Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a one to one basis with an individual child. Candidates will need to possess both initiative and sensitivity and be a proven effective team member.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Possess and use appropriate skills to undertake those activities necessary to meet the physical, emotional and educational needs of individuals and groups of children, including those with special needs
- Communicate effectively with adults and children
- Work as part of a team
- Carry out prepared educational activities and programmes of learning
- Assist the teaching staff in the planning, preparation and delivery of work programmes for individuals and groups of children
- Carry out intimate care for a child
