Teaching Assistant (Level 3 ) SCP E8, £20,493 pro rata per annum, 32.5 hours per week, term time only (195 days per year)

One year temporary in the first instance.

Marton Manor Primary School l pupils and staff would like to hear from teaching assistants who are enthusiastic, resilient, motivated, and imaginative This post is to support the teaching of pupils and to support their well- being. This post will be to commence on Monday 9th May 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Applicants will possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and be able to meet the essential criteria on the person specification for this post. The school is looking for applicants with excellent verbal and written communication skills, who can work well as part of a team. The successful applicant will be responsible for working within a class and may also be asked to deliver interventions or to support in other ways for pupils with SEN/D which may include some one –to –one work as part of a team sharing this support. There will also be a requirement to complete a lunchtime duty.

Candidates should have experience of working as a classroom or teaching assistant and possess a good understanding of basic skills development for children of primary school age There is potential for this post to become a permanent position.
