The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Art & Technology for Excelsior Academy to cover maternity leave.
The successful candidate will positively contribute to raising standards of attainment and achievement for all pupils at Excelsior in all aspects of Academy life through providing high quality teaching and high-quality support and guidance to all pupils in their care, through fully utilising their skills, talents, knowledge and expertise and through setting a positive example in their own professional behaviour.
Excelsior Academy is an All-Through Academy providing education for students aged 3 – 19, serving the West End of Newcastle. Working at Excelsior, you will play an important role in our continuous drive for further improvement.
Working at Excelsior will challenge you but the rewards are huge. Successful candidates will play an important role in our continuous drive for further improvement and will have the potential to work in Key Stages three, four and five.
The successful candidate will join a successful MAT where all Academies support each other to the benefit of our pupils and their families. Our Academies also enjoy strong support from an experienced LST central team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
