An opportunity has arisen within Planning and Assets for a permanent Surveyor.

The postholder will be a member of a team responsible for ensuring pro-active management of the Council’s estate and non operational property holdings. This role is likely to be dealing with property management matters including landlord and tenant work and leasing work, however duties could extend to property valuation and acquisition and disposal cases.

Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent providing a foundation for membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent appropriate professional body.

Candidates should have specialist knowledge of property and property processes and have experience of working and making decisions as part of a team.
