Required immediately.
Enthusiastic, creative and hard-working individuals are required for the post of teaching assistant in our small, multi-lingual school. The role will involve providing classroom support and responding to pupils’ academic, social, emotional and physical needs. It will also involve assisting in the support and inclusion of pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities and/or English as an additional language.

Christ Church is a small, caring school with a strong Christian ethos. The governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated teaching assistant who will make a significant contribution to a dedicated and supportive team. The person appointed will be committed to inclusion and celebration of diversity.

Applications are especially welcome from practicing Christians and those sympathetic to the Christian ethos.

The school is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and a range of other recruitment checks.

An application form, job specification and job description can be obtained from the school website at www.christchurch.newcastle.sch.uk or by emailing admin@christchurch.newcastle.sch.uk.
Please email completed forms to admin.
