An opportunity has arisen to work in Community Health and Social Care Direct. CHSCD is the first access point for adult social care across Newcastle upon Tyne.

The role involves a rotation of tasks which will include, assessment, undertaking information gathering and making initial responses to safeguarding referrals and managing day to day enquiries offering support with crisis intervention as required.

You will need to be organised to work in a busy and fast paced environment. You will need to be flexible and may need to carry out a broad range of assessment and reviewing duties as required. You will work as part of a team, and will receive ongoing support and training. Recent experience in an adult social work team environment is desirable for this post.
