Following the recent retirement of our Senior Programme Officer (Highways Maintenance) we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our Asset Management team, to work with our Asset Management systems and transforming our process to harness future technological advances.

You will assist on the development and implementation of our revenue and capital highway maintenance programmes disseminating our asset management, planning and pavement management principles across the wider Highways and Transport design and delivery teams. You will assist in the development, monitoring and review of our Asset Management Policies and Strategies and ensure that appropriate data is collected and interpreted in a timely manner to influence decisions and support a proactive performance management culture.

You will fulfil a senior role within the team of 10 staff delivering unique integrated Highways Asset Management working in close collaboration with our inhouse Design and Highway Delivery teams. This close collaboration drives continuous improvement, innovation and delivers added value within an inclusive and supportive environment. The team thrives on its diversity and at the same time builds on the strengths of each individual.

The Highways Asset Management team is a core team in the larger Infrastructure structure of over 100 staff comprising Highways Improvement, Network Management, Parking Services, Passenger Transport, Highway Development Management and Flood and Coastal Erosion Management.
