Senior Business Support Assistant

Grade E  (2 year Fixed-Term)

Due to a staff secondment we are looking to recruit a Senior Business Support Assistant to help provide clerical and administrative support to services within Education, Schools & Inclusion, ensuring an efficient and effective service is provided.

You will be responsible for dealing with enquiries in a timely and professional manner to ensure a high level of customer service to service users, members of the public and external organisations and undertaking general financial administration, including budgets, budget monitoring, processing of invoices and other areas as required.

You will have knowledge and experience of word processing, database and spreadsheet skills, particularly Microsoft Office and effective written and oral communication skills.  You will also have experience of administration support in an education or customer service setting and, in the implementation, and maintenance of computerised information systems.  You will be able to organise and prioritise your workload to ensure timescales are met.  You will have 5 GCSE’s (A-C or 9-4 passes) or equivalent, hold a NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or be willing to work towards one, or satisfactory relevant experience.
