Sele First School are seeking to appoint a non-supervisory caretaker on a permanent contract. The post will involve regular and reactive site maintenance, compliance checks, opening and locking up and stock control.

 We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated person to take on this extremely important role within the school.
This post is a variable hours contract from 10-30 hours per week, starting at 20 hours per week.
The post will involve initial starting hours of 7.30 – 11.30am. You will be a key holder, ensuring the security of the buildings and contents, health and safety monitoring and will be expected to deliver the full range of caretaking, maintenance and general repairs, cleaning duties and completing the relevant paperwork, as set out in the job description. This is a varied and interesting role and you must be able to work effectively as part of a team, be friendly, approachable, conscientious and have the ability to readily adapt to differing priorities and work well under pressure. Previous experience in general maintenance and health and safety regulations would be desirable.
Please note this is a non-residential post.
