Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for Residential Care Officers to join our friendly, supportive team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
We are recruiting for 5 x 37 hour posts and 2 x 30 hour posts for a new home due to open this year. The focus of the home will be to work in conjunction with health partners to provide a therapeutic based model of care for those children and young people who have experienced trauma and may have attachment issues.
We are looking for enthusiastic, tenacious and motivated Residential Care Officers with experience of working with children and young people. You should be an enthusiastic, creative and child focused individual.
You will be experienced and hold Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, must meet all essential criteria as set out in the attached person specification.
You will have the skills, knowledge and drive to deliver care packages that support our ethos and mission statement to ‘turnaround the lives of young people in order to prepare them to live in a family’. Our homes are supported by a therapist to help develop and deliver individualised packages of support.
