Joint responsibly to South Tyneside Council and South Tyneside and Sunderland local delivery team (NENC ICB).

 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to oversee the planning and management of specific projects supporting the Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Autism and Neurodiversity Alliances. This role will work and report to South Tyneside Council and South Tyneside and Sunderland local delivery team (NENC ICB).
 
The post holder will be responsible for the planning and management of several complex strategies and projects and for the delivery of the overall workplan. The Project Manager will work alongside partners and people living in South Tyneside to achieve the aims documented within the Autism Strategy, The Learning Disabilities Strategy, The All-Age Mental Health Strategy, Living Better Lives Strategy and the Health and Wellbeing Strategy for Children, Adults and Families.

About You:
We are looking for a candidate with high levels of experience and understanding of the local NHS and Local Government structure, strategy, vision and policy in respect to Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and Neurodiversity, who understands the strategy and policy agendas in depth and will be able to lead and support on the delivery of projects in these areas.
 
You will have recent experience of managing complex projects and leadership within a health or social care setting and experience of working collaboratively with commissioners and provider organisations.
 
You will have a proven track record of service improvement, service reform, performance management and delivering projects within budget and timescales, as well as a high level of communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. As a Project Manager you must also be able provide leadership expertise and be mindful of the wider strategic and operational context of stakeholders.
 
Working at all levels within and across South Tyneside Council and South Tyneside and Sunderland Local Delivery Team (NENC ICB), and with external stakeholders and partners, the Project Manager will deliver successful change projects and prepare reports on the progress of the goals and aims of the strategies and be able to formulate contingency plans to ensure outcomes are delivered effectively.
