Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker in Adult Social Care? Do you have experience in driving best practice, that delivers good outcomes for Adults and their Carers? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified Social Worker, with strong vision and leadership skills to join us on a fixed term basis to support our operational teams in the delivery of strength based and outcome focussed practice. You will work in a small team with the Principal Social Worker and Business Development Officer however will spend most of you time with frontline colleagues and other team managers to support them in their roles as Practice Leads.

The successful postholder must have:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within Adult Social Care
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing practices that lead to better outcomes for adults and their carers
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
  • A passion for improving the lives of adults and carers in need of care and support.
  • Relevant Social Work qualification.
Role overview
As Practice Manager you will:
  • Lead and inspire dedicated social care professionals
  • Drive and support best practice
  • Support colleagues through implementation of new ways of working
  • Quality assure how we support Adults and Carers
  • Work in partnership with team managers to support practice development in their teams
  • Provide support to new social care colleagues, joining our teams.
  • Develop and facilitate CPD sessions for social care colleagues as required.
