Under the Governments Long Term Plan for Towns initiative Jarrow, South Tyneside has been allocated £20m to invest in the area’s future. Led by local employers and community leaders a new Jarrow Town Board has been established to listen to the views of local people and draw-up a long-term plan to maximise the investment over the next decade.
As the Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of the new Jarrow Town Board and its three year investment plan and 10 year strategy. This will include managing and monitoring projects, programmes and external funding streams which are being delivered to make sustainable improvements to the area. You will also ensure effective service delivery by supporting and monitoring grant programmes, and funding contracts.
