About the role….

You will be working as a Section Manager (Repairs) and your main duties will be to manage and coach operational teams to deliver a responsive and planned repairs and maintenance service 8am to 8pm and an out of hours emergency repairs service, to customers, that focuses on right first-time repairs to maximise customer satisfaction and value for money ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will manage the responsive and planned repairs, working closely with partners to improve service delivery and outcomes for customers, and work with partners to ensure that complaints and enquiries are investigated and responded to in a positive and helpful manner.

Your duties will include leading on the management of employee performance and other related issues within HR guidance and legislation, effectively managing and monitoring dedicated budgets to provide best value for money and the optimum possible level of service, leading on the management of subcontractors used within the service in terms of performance and other related issues, and leading on health and safety management to ensure compliance with current legislation, specifications, and codes of practice.
