Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people and adults with learning difficulties? We are seeking a compassionate Job Coach to join our team and play a vital role in helping individuals find and excel in employment opportunities.

As a Job Coach, you will have the rewarding task of fostering positive relationships with learners, parents, carers, health professionals, and partners to ensure unwavering support for their learning and job prospects. You will engage with a diverse range of employers to secure top-notch work placements and job openings for those with learning difficulties.

Your role will involve providing tailored support within the workplace, offering vocational profiling, job matching, and progress reviews. You will mentor and coach individuals, empowering them to enter and thrive in the workforce by boosting their confidence, providing practical assistance, and guiding them on workplace etiquette.

On a one-on-one basis, you will support individuals in their workplace roles through systematic instruction, visual aids, and modelling. Administrative tasks will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations in line with the job requirements.

Your expertise will be crucial in providing accurate information and tailored support to employers and mentors, enabling them to provide the best possible assistance to individuals with learning disabilities. You will guide and support individuals towards positive outcomes such as internships, volunteering, paid employment, apprenticeships, and further education.

Health and safety assessments will be conducted by you to guarantee that work placements and job opportunities are safe environments for all involved. Attending relevant events to promote learning and skills opportunities will also be part of your role.

If you have a level 2 qualification in Maths and English, a Level 3 qualification in working with individuals with learning difficulties, a Level 2 IAG qualification, and a current driving license, along with relevant experience in this field, we invite you to be a part of our team. Ideally you will have knowledge of Access to work processes and making Access to work applications.

Your communication skills, ability to promote positive behaviour, work with accuracy, and collaborate effectively within a team will be key to your success in this role.
