We wish to appoint a committed and reliable person to the role of Learning Support Assistant.  The successful applicant will work under the guidance of teaching staff and the SENDCO/SEND Support Manager to implement agreed work programmes with individual groups, in or out of the classroom.  This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting teachers and the SENDCo/SEND Support Manager in the whole planning and management/preparation of resources. 
 
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop within an established and supportive team of colleagues. While previous experience in a similar role would be desirable, full training and support will be available to the successful applicant.  You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the qualities and desire to support young people in their education.
