Further information

A South Northumberland primary school is currently working in partnership with First Class Supply to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teacher for a range of Intervention and Booster group work, including support for Year 6 working towards SAT's. The position is to start in January 2017, on a full time basis, and is likely to extend until May 2017.

This is a small urban school which is warm and welcoming and where the children's behaviour is very good. Boasting a new building and facilities there is currently 1 class per year group, although numbers are expanding rapidly. Children are challenged and supported to be the best they can possibly be, in their learning and in their personal development. Standards are rising because pupils are given good support to succeed, the curriculum is well planned across a broad range of development areas. Continued improvements have been seen in the quality of teaching and pupils' achievement.

To apply for this role it is essential that you:

• can demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development
• have a strong commitment towards raising standards
• consistently teach inspirational and varied lessons
• are pro-active, enthusiastic, and dynamic
• hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
• have recent knowledge/experience of teaching at Key Stage 2 within the UK National Curriculum.
