Sunderland City Council is looking for a temporary Housing Officer to cover maternity leave and undertake the vital role of assisting the Housing Strategy Team to develop and deliver the City’s Housing Strategy.
We are looking for a Housing Officer who is able to work closely with a range of partners to seek their views on the draft Housing Strategy for Sunderland and to co-ordinate partner working groups to deliver the actions with the Housing Strategy. The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering small housing related projects.
The role also entails work in relation to returning empty homes back to use and providing advice and guidance to the Council on housing issues.
