We’re currently looking for a Housing Manager to join our Housing Management team on a permanent basis to help us deliver exciting services to our tenants.

We offer a starting salary of £46,549 per annum for a 37-hour week, 29 days of annual leave (rising to 32 days after 5 years’ service) plus Bank Holidays

A bit about what you will get up to…

In partnership with South Tyneside Council, South Tyneside Homes provide a Housing Management service. Through the integration of Housing Management, Tenancy Support, and Community Safety, we provide a service that focuses on supporting tenants to successfully maintain their tenancies.

We are looking for an experienced professional to undertake the role of Housing Manager. The role is to lead a multidiscipline team to deliver a tenancy sustainment service to our tenants. You will work with Elected and Board members, communities, colleagues, and partners to deliver outstanding, pro-active, and responsive housing management service. This is a pivotal role in our approach to providing borough wide services that meet the aspirations of our tenants.

You should have experience of working in a housing management service, community safety, tenancy service and/or social housing environment at a senior management level and have experience of multi-agency working. You should also possess excellent communication skills, extensive experience of managing change and leading diverse teams to deliver excellent services.
