Come and join our expanding Building Control Service here at North Tyneside Council. We are currently investing in our Building Control Service and looking for a highly motivated Building Control Surveyor who will become part of the in-house Building Control Team.

Working as part of a strong professional team, alongside our multi-disciplinary Design and Construction teams, you will have access to exceptional development and progression opportunities.

As a successful individual you will help deliver a quality Building Control service whilst carrying out a range of building control duties, ensuring you gain vital experience to help in your professional development. You will bring construction industry experience, and have both knowledge of, and experience in the practical application of Building Regulations and associated legislation/guidance documents. You will be able to make pragmatic decisions, provide a customer-focused approach and bring a teamwork ethic to complement our existing team.
