North Tyneside Council is offering a rare and exciting opportunity to join our high performing Sport and Leisure team. We are seeking to appoint two suitably qualified and experienced part time playworkers to join our team at Shiremoor Adventure Playground to deliver play opportunities for children who use the site.

We are looking for confident, motivated, and committed individual with an excellent understanding of play. In addition, you will need to have good interpersonal and communication skills and have the highest regard for customer care.

The successful applicants will be engaged on an initial one year contract which will be reviewed annually. You will be expected to work flexibly throughout the year, working weekends and evenings during term time and through the day during school holidays. One post is 16 hours per week and the other is 20 hours per week.
