The governors of this vibrant, nurturing and creative school are looking to appoint a hardworking and inspirational teacher to join our energetic and supportive team, and become SENCO and Inclusion Lead for the whole school.
 
You will be a professional who:
  • has a strong understanding of, and teaching within, the primary phase
  • has evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the SENCO role, or willingness to undertake this training
  • is self-motivated, proactive and well-organised
  • can adapt learning successfully to the identified needs of children
  • is an excellent communicator with children, parents/carers and colleagues and highly credible in the SEND role
  • thrives professionally as part of a strong team
  • has knowledge and understanding of national priorities, current curriculum development and an ability to use, design and implement a range of interventions and supportive approaches to help children with identified SEND and SEMH continue to thrive within our school
  • has a secure understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and the essential processes needed for successful SEND support and Inclusion within a primary school
  • has a thorough understanding of quality assurance techniques
