The casual role attracts £12.59 per hour plus enhancements for weekend working.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Service Assistants teams. We are recruiting for casual staff who have who have availability to work Monday to Friday daytime and evenings and occasionally at a weekend.
Successful applicants will deliver a high standard of customer service across our venues.
Post holders will be expected to undertake a range of activities associated with the general operation of TWAM’s museums and galleries, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, answering enquires and providing information and assistance on the service and activities within the venue. Post holders will also explain exhibits and displays, demonstrate interactive exhibits and may undertake group guided tours, as well as actively promoting retail and fundraising activities to encourage visitor spend.
Operating a till, handling and reconciling payments and stock control in accordance with financial procedures will also be part of the role, as will assisting with the moving and handling of collections and exhibits and the installation of exhibitions and displays.
Applicants will have numeracy, literacy and basic IT skill as well as experience in a visitor-facing role and commitment to engaging with visitors.
