Further Information
If you enjoy dealing with the general public and can demonstrate some experience of this, either face to face or over the telephone, then we would be very excited to meet you. Training will be provided to cover all requirements of the role. On a daily basis you would be handling calls from a wide range of people in a busy contact centre environment. You will also be helping to cover a busy reception desk, dealing with people on a face to face basis, within Seafield House.

The Service has a strong customer focus, embedded team working ethics and commitment in delivering customer service excellence to residents of Redcar and Cleveland. If you think you have the skills required and can demonstrate your ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as under your own initiative, the Council would welcome an application from you.

Your primary locations of work will be the Contact Centre, located in the Council Offices, and Seafield House, both of which are located on Kirkleatham Street in Redcar. Candidates will be required to work within service hours of 08:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
