We're seeking to looking to appoint a Curriculum Leader for Performing Arts to join our department from September 2025.
Our facilities includes a drama studio that can support with showcasing the work of our pupils, and we also have school shows that take place at key points throughout the year. One of our most successful productions was 'We Will Rock You' the musical, and we're looking for a leader to share our ambition to involve our pupils and community in our productions. The role is pivotal in our development as a school, and will be central to the continuing improvements that Benfield has shown.
We are looking for someone who can inspire and influence and who:
- Has experience of line managing and motivating a team.
- Recent experience of working with young people in a secondary school.
- Can contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of our engaging curriculum.
- Has experience of implementing strategies that raise learner and department attainment, and also continually evaluate their effectiveness.
