RCBC are looking to recruit a skilled cook to prepare meals which are required to meet nutritional and dietary needs for people using the Bistro at The Dunes .
15 hours per week contract
You will need to understand the importance of good quality home cooked meals offering choice and value for money.
Excellent people skills are required to maintain and promote relationships within the Dunes Hub
A NVQ catering qualification or equivalent is essential and you must have had experience of a busy environment.
Organisational skills and experience of supervising staff , completing associated paper work is essential
Competency and efficiency in all areas of kitchen management e.g. menus, ordering ,storage of goods, recording, disposal to comply with legal and organisational requirements
The post holder will have the opportunity to cover other cooks in the team up to a maximum of 37 hours per week and weekend working will be on a 3 weekly rota basis.
