Join Our Communications Team – Help Shape the Future of the North East
 
We are growing our communications team to reflect the ambitious programme the North East Combined Authority has to transform our region.
 
We are looking for communications professionals who can plan campaigns which exploit the full range of PESO tactics, who can create content across a wide sweep of channels, and who can measure the impact their work has.

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on some of the biggest and most exciting campaigns and programmes happening in North East England.

In the role of Communications Officer, you’ll lead on and plan key campaigns, develop innovative communication strategies, and play a vital role in shaping the way we engage with residents, businesses, and partners across the North East.

  • Proven skills in digital content creation and getting reach through multi-channel tactics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in communications, public relations, engagement or events.
  • Creativity, initiative, and a passion for storytelling.
  • A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
