Walkergate Community School is seeking to appoint a Cleaner in Charge to maintain the cleanliness of the school premises and surrounding grounds whilst providing supervision to cleaning staff. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to ensure the building is fit for purpose and the delivery of the service is in accordance with school standards, policies and procedures. 

This post is part time working Monday to Friday 3:00pm-6:30pm 

We are looking for a colleague who has: 
  • NVQ/BICS qualification relevant to the role or
    committed to work towards
  • Working knowledge of health and safety
    relevant to the role
  • Experience in delivering to a high standard 
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
