About us:
Jesmond Gardens is a 315-place primary school, located in Hartlepool, with an excellent reputation in the local community.

Professor Stephen Heppell one of the world’s leading academics and educationalists, on 29th June 2012, officially opened the school. In his address he said, “I can honestly say that this is the best school I have ever been in, in my life”.

We need teachers to join our amazing, successful school in the autumn term. We offer a fabulous working environment but one that is innovative and unique. Our teachers are highly creative and use Apple technology every day as part of our learning. Don’t panic – you will take to it very quickly!

We’re looking for teachers who have a willingness to embrace change. You’ll need to be open to new approaches to learning and teaching, and someone who is a great team player. Your previous experience can be with children of any age across the primary sector.
