If you are passionate about making sure that our Borough's children & young people are given opportunities to grow, develop and thrive, understand how youth work can help to support children & young people and are willing to work in school holidays then this may be the right post for you.
We are seeking Level 2 & 3 Youth Support Workers in the Redcar, Eston and Guisborough areas to work with young people with a wide range of disabilities and one to one support needs from the age of 5 up to the age of 18.
Work will be varied, will give opportunities for you to work as an individual and as part of a team and also include learning & development opportunities.
You should to be able to demonstrate an ability to engage and communicate effectively with children and young people, be able to plan & deliver differentiated activities and have an understanding of how to meet the needs of children and young people in an informal, activity led youth work environment.
