Hours: (06:00am – 09:30am, 3pm – 6pm plus 4.5 hours per week for grounds, time to be negotiated with school)
 
All Saints’ Catholic Primary school, Lanchester is a small village school with a family spirit amongst its staff and pupils. We are proud to be part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England and will have a total of 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive, and growing team.
 
We are looking for an individual who would like to join our school as a Caretaker.
 
We are seeking an individual to ensure the school site is secure and that the buildings and grounds are maintained, clean and equipment is well maintained. To also supervise cleaning staff within the school to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.
 
The successful candidate will:
  • Ensure buildings and the site are secure.
  • Act as the designated key holder for the school premises
  • Operate and regularly check systems such as heating, lighting and security
  • Arrange regular maintenance and safety check
  • Perform duties in line with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Grounds maintenance.
  • Supervise cleaning staff
