Further Information
Your target will be to deliver the programme to extend the passenger rail transport from Newcastle to Blyth and Ashington. You will need to liaise with others on the strategic and economic case, funding and legal aspects, commissioning governance for railway investment programme, design and construction, franchise and operation, land assembly/property acquisition, development delivery, land value uplift and and stakeholder engagement.
You will be managing a budget in excess of £60 million and leading a team of professionals, admin support staff and sub-contractors providing front line and back office services.

You must have a engineering degree together with evidence of recent management training including PRINCE 2 or other project management qualifications. Extensive experience in the public rail transport field along with knowledge of current inter/national laws, policies and procedures.
